Sedation

If you’ve ever experienced anxiety about dental visits or let it stop you from receiving the treatment you need, sedation dentistry may be an option for you. Sedation induces a sense of deep relaxation that allows you to remain comfortable throughout your treatment, and does not put you to sleep.

At Westowne Dental, we offer nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, to help patients remain calm and relaxed during their visit. The gas is administered through an inhaler and is very effective at relieving anxiety.
